Floaty privacy

Floaty is private by design. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.

What stays on your device

Your floater profiles, daily logs, health habits, water tracking, course progress, background photos and generated doctor reports are stored locally on your iPhone and are never uploaded to us. Floaty has no accounts and no sign-in.

Camera and photos

The camera and photo library are used only to set a background for the simulator and for the live AR view. Images are processed on-device; the AR camera feed is never recorded or transmitted.

Sharing

Video clips, GIFs and PDF reports are generated on your device and shared only when you choose to, through the standard iOS share sheet. Where they go from there is up to you.

Screen-time app blocking

If you enable app blocking for sky breaks, Apple's Screen Time system handles the blocking with opaque identifiers — Floaty never learns which apps you selected.

Purchases and notifications

Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we don't see your payment details. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.

Analytics

Floaty contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers.
