Common questions

My floaters don't look quite right. Open the design tab: pick an eye, drag floaters where yours live, tune size, visibility, softness, rotation and speed — or draw your exact shape with the ✍️ brush. If a whole floater type is missing, email us; that's exactly the feedback the beta is for.

Where are my recordings saved? Exported clips are generated on demand and handed to the iOS share sheet — nothing is uploaded anywhere by us.

How do I restore my subscription? On the paywall, tap "restore purchases" while signed into the same Apple ID.

App blocking during sky breaks doesn't work. Screen-time blocking needs an Apple permission that is rolling out with a future build. Sky breaks themselves work today.

Important

Floaty is a self-tracking, simulation and education tool — not a medical device, and not a diagnosis. A sudden shower of new floaters, flashes of light, or a dark curtain across your vision needs an urgent eye exam, the same week, not someday. When in doubt, see an eye doctor.
