Moonline Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026. This policy explains how Moonline handles data when you use the app.
Overview
Moonline is an astrology, meditation and sleep companion by Fireport. There are no Fireport accounts, no sign-ups, and no advertising. Moonline is designed so that your personal data stays on your phone.
Data stored only on your device
Your name, birth date, birth time and birthplace; your goals and chosen guidance systems; your journal, saved guide notes, dream texts and readings; course progress, streaks and game progress; and sleep sessions. None of this is uploaded to Fireport. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Sleep tracking and microphone
If you enable sleep tracking with listening, Moonline uses the microphone only during a tracked night to detect snoring and sleep-talking on the device. Audio clips are stored only on your phone, are never uploaded anywhere, and are deleted when you delete them or the app. Motion data is processed on the device and never leaves it.
AI questions
When you ask the AI guides a question as a subscriber, your question and a short summary of your chart (for example, sign placements — never your name, exact birth details or location) are sent securely to Fireport's server and forwarded to an AI provider to compose the answer. Requests are identified only by an anonymous code derived from your subscription; Fireport cannot connect it to your identity. Questions are not used to train AI models, are not sold, and are not used for advertising. Without a subscription, answers are generated entirely on your device.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Fireport never receives your payment details. The app receives subscription status from Apple so it can unlock premium features, and sends a signed receipt to Fireport's server solely to verify a subscription when using AI features.
Location
The live sky map can optionally use your location, only while you use it, to point the map at your sky. Location is never stored by Fireport or sent to any server. You can use the map without granting location access.
Notifications
The morning whisper and wake alarms are scheduled locally on your device. Moonline does not use remote push notifications.
Analytics and ads
Moonline contains no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
