Shikaku Rogue Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026. This policy explains how Shikaku Rogue handles information when you play the game.
Overview
Shikaku Rogue is a logic puzzle adventure by Fireport. It does not require a Fireport account. You can play without giving Fireport your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifier.
Information stored on your device
Shikaku Rogue stores game progress and preferences locally on your device. This can include campaign progress, unlocked characters and blades, best times and scores, health and inventory state, tutorial progress, music and sound preferences, and your anonymous analytics choice.
Optional anonymous analytics
Analytics is off until you choose “Share anonymous data.” You can change this choice in Options. Turning analytics off stops collection and clears events that have not yet been sent.
If you opt in, Shikaku Rogue uses PostHog Cloud in the European Union to understand whether its tutorials, puzzles, difficulty curve, progression, and controls work well. Events can include app opens; tutorial and campaign progress; floor starts and completions; puzzle mode, size, difficulty and duration; mistakes, hints, damage and results; Blade Trial progress; character selection; run sharing; app version; operating-system platform; and changes to game settings.
Analytics events use a randomly generated identifier stored by Shikaku Rogue and random session and event identifiers. The game does not send your name, email address, advertising identifier, precise location, puzzle-cell coordinates, touch paths, free-form text, contacts, photos, or screen recordings. Fireport does not use this information for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
PostHog may process technical connection information, such as an IP address, when receiving a network request. Shikaku Rogue disables location enrichment and does not add an IP address to its event data. For more information, see PostHog’s privacy notice.
Why analytics is used
Fireport uses opted-in analytics to improve onboarding, balance puzzle difficulty, find unusual failure or drop-off points, evaluate hints and game modes, and improve progression and accessibility. Analytics is not sold and is not used for third-party advertising.
Sharing and purchases
When you choose to share a run, Apple’s share sheet lets you select the destination. Fireport does not receive the shared content or learn which service you choose. App purchases are processed by Apple; Fireport does not receive your payment card details.
Data retention and deletion
Fireport retains opted-in analytics only for as long as reasonably needed to improve and operate Shikaku Rogue, normally no longer than 24 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Local game data remains on your device until you remove the app or its data.
Because the game does not know your real-world identity, Fireport may need the anonymous identifier from your device to locate a specific analytics record. To ask a privacy question or request deletion, use the Fireport contact form and choose “Privacy or data request.”
Support enquiries
If you contact Fireport through the website, the form asks for your name, reply email address, enquiry type, and message. Netlify processes the submission on Fireport’s behalf. Fireport uses this information only to respond to and manage your enquiry and does not add it to gameplay analytics.
Children
Shikaku Rogue is not directed specifically to children under 13, and Fireport does not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact Fireport to request deletion.
No ads or cross-app tracking
Shikaku Rogue does not include third-party advertising SDKs, sell personal information, use Apple’s advertising identifier, or combine gameplay activity with activity from other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
Changes and contact
Fireport may update this policy when Shikaku Rogue’s features or service providers change. For privacy questions, consent withdrawal, or deletion requests, use the Fireport contact form or visit Shikaku Rogue Support.
