Drawing rectangles
Drag from one grid cell to another, then release to place a rectangle.
- Each rectangle must contain exactly one numbered clue.
- Its area must equal that clue’s number.
- Drag across an existing region to replace or correct it.

Hints and health
Hints reveal a valid next region and are limited so they remain useful without removing the challenge.
- Mistakes can cost health, but you can backtrack.
- Tap the potion when its health recovery is needed.
- Complete the full board to trigger the battle reveal.
Music and sound
Open the gear on the home screen for separate music, placement, sword, and celebration controls.
- Turn up iPhone media volume.
- Check silent mode, headphones, and Bluetooth.
- Close and reopen the app after changing an audio route.
Reporting a problem
Use the Fireport contact form and choose “App support.” Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Shikaku Rogue build number, floor number or mode, what you dragged or tapped, and whether the issue happened before or after the board was completed.
